Meet Our Team in Palatine, Illinois
Hi my name is Ana and here’s a little about me. I graduated as a doctor’s assistant from the Illinois School of Health Careers and started working for Dr. Rob in the winter of 2021. My main duty is to perform pretesting for patients prior to seeing the doctor. I also do chair side assisting for Dr. Rob.
The best part about working here is seeing the smiles and expressions of our Gentle Shaping System/Orthokeratology patients when they come in for their first morning on the program.
I have 4 kids, ages 6 to 13 and in our free time, we like to go for long walks as a family.
Hi, my name is Alma and I have been a part of Dr. Gerowitz’s staff since June 2012. I am a 2011 graduate from the Illinois School of Health Careers with a degree in medical assisting. I am the Product Manager for Dr. Gerowitz. As the product manager, I responsible for leading Dr. Gerowitz’s team as well as for all aspects of product ordering and quality.
Also, I am the one who gets to help new Orthokeratology patients get training when they first start on the program. I am able to help out in all aspects of the office to ensure quality patient experiences.
Outside of the office, I am the mother of four, ages seven months to eleven years. My kids are what encouraged me to go back to school. I wanted to make a better life for myself and my family.
It is very important to me that our patients leave our office educated and enthused about their contact lenses and eyeglasses. Working with Dr. Gerowitz is a real pleasure; every day is a new learning experience. I enjoy working with all of our patients and creating a trusting bond.
